How to watch Asus ROG Ally launch stream

Here's everything you need to know about the Asus ROG Ally launch stream this week

Asus' launch event for the brand new Asus ROG Ally happens today and is set to unveil the price, release date and full specs of the machine.

Asus' new handheld gaming PC and contender to the Steam Deck's throne is having a massive reveal event take place today and it looks to be a game changer. Our first look at the Asus ROG Ally takes place today and we're excited to finally find out more about the device including – hopefully – the price and release date. Our hardware specialist Jasmine Mannan got her hands on the device and talked about it in our glowing Asus ROG Ally preview.

The stream will unveil details about the device such as the price, release date and a full rundown of the specs over a 45-minute showcase straight from Asus. Mirror Gaming has the device in hand and will be reviewing it in the near future, but you can have a peep at our Asus ROG Ally unboxing video to experience opening the upcoming device for the first time and gaze at how nice it looks in person.

The Asus ROG Ally launch stream will take place on Today at 3pm BST / 10am EDT / 7am PDT and is set to run for 45 minutes according to a calendar link on the ROG Ally website.

You'll be able to watch the video on the ROG Global YouTube page once it goes live. You can also join us in watching the stream live on the Mirror Gaming YouTube channel, we'll save you some of the hassle by embedding that right here when it's live for your viewing pleasure.

Asus promises a breakdown of the Asus ROG Ally hardware including the full specifications, which presumably includes both models. Asus is also set to announce the pricing of the unit at this event. All we really know so far is a leaked price of $699.99 which lines up with word that the unit will be "Under $1,000" according to an Asus representative talking to PC Gamer, which could poise it as a true Steam Deck competitor.

We'll also find out exactly when players will be able to get the device in-hand, while Asus calls this showcase a "launch event" we think its unlikely they'll pull a Sega Saturn and launch it on Thursday, as much as we would love that. The aforementioned $699.99 leak also came with a placeholder date of June 13, 2023, which is fairly soon if it turns out to be true, here's hoping.
